Waiting for Superman. This documentary about the state of public education in the U.S. was most excellent. I did everything in my power not to out and out sob the last ten minutes of the film. Please go! I had no idea that teachers were getting tenure after two years simply by just showing up, making it nearly impossible to get rid of crappy educators. Hoping for this very broken system to be fixed. Davis Guggenheim has done us a favor by outlining the situation so beautifully. Well done, well done.
