Cafe Was

I had the best bowl of smoked chicken gumbo ever. Check out Jack n' Jill's Too. Seriously tasty. After that deliciousness I met PV at Cafe Was in Hollywood. Am I living under a rock? How come I've never been there? It's a seriously awesome venue - the perfect place for a drink or to go hear music. We went to hear the same ragtime pianist/singer/songwriter, Aaron Beaumont, and again, I was blown away. The piano was on a rotating disk, so he slowly went around while he played. I've been trying to upload some video of him playing the heck out of the piano, but to no avail. Check out a youtube video here.
